McKenna’s Cafe opened in Dorchester in 1999, founded by longtime Savin Hill residents Kathy and Bernie Goodman and named after their daughter, McKenna. After several successful years serving the neighborhood, the founders expanded south and opened a second restaurant in Naples, passing the original café into the hands of local owners who continued its tradition of pride, hospitality, and quality food.
